Spain Plus Two Cities in 2022

Introduction

From September 27 to October 18, 2022, I traveled to three cities in Spain plus Marseille and Zürich. These were all new cities to me. The text here is largely a reconstruction of my activities from photos plus a few notes about things I did each day. I would not say these pages relate what it is like to be in a foreign country, since that feeling is hard to capture.

A note about viewing images: The images in my web page are tagged to open in a named target window. This means if you open one (by clicking on any small image) and move its tab to a separate window, then clicking on any other small image should change the displayed image without creating a new tab or window.

My first flight, to Lisbon, went well and landed early, and I was able to change to an earlier flight to Madrid. That flight was delayed slightly, but I still ended up in Madrid 2½ hours earlier than planned.
