We took the train to Innsbruck, chosen because it was a base for trips to the
Dampfzug and Mieders Sommerrodelbahn. Quicken tells me I paid for some sightseer
bus, but I do not recall that.
I remember finding lunch was a bit of an ordeal, but, once settled at Orangerie,
I liked it and would like to go back. Innsbruck generally was scenic and
pleasant, and I would like to visit again.
Alex had picked out a model train store to visit in Innsbruck, and it was an
anomaly. Many model train stores are a bit cluttered, run by an older man, and
perhaps a bit dusty or stale. There may be various shipping boxes here and
there. This one was neat, clean, and well organized with two knowledgeable
attractive saleswomen.
