We visited Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Not a bad museum, but the layout was confusing. Then we rode the Wellington Cable Car. The cable car has an innocuous entrance on a busy Wellington street and whisks you up a hill to a calm park and residential neighborhood. If I had to live in Wellington, I would want to live there, outside the hustle and bustle but with easy access to downtown.

Later, I took a bus to the Petone suburb to investigate a chocolate store, The Chocolate Story.
