It is a bit pricy, but you can climb Sydney Harbour Bridge. The trip starts in a building about 600 meters from the water and goes through various parts of the bridge structure to the peak at the center. It goes both under and above train tracks and the roadway.

The company, BridgeClimb Sydney, is serious about security; you cannot take any loose objects, not even wristwatches, and you put on their jumpsuit and go through a metal detector. They cannot allow anything to fall onto the bridge, people, cars, trains, or boats. Any gloves or hats they provide for the weather are tethered to the suit. And the suit is connected to a cable that runs along the entire route (with switches at places).

They have an impressive list of people who have climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge, including Oprah Winfrey, The Duke of Sussex, Hugh Jackman, Al Gore, Steve Wozniak, Selma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, Rod Stewart, Tony Hawk, Bill Nye, Bill Gates, Hillary Duff, Richard Branson, Usain Bolt, Cate Blanchette, Paula Abdul, Demi Lovato, Rickie Martin, Will Ferrell, The Village People, Robert de Niro, Eva Langoria, David Hasselhoff, Kelly Clarkson, Will Smith, Heidi Klum, Daniel Radcliffe, Bette Midler, Bruce Springsteen, Matthew Damon, Nicole Kidman, Ben Stiller, Hilary Swank, Malala Yousafzai, and Paul McCartney.

After the bridge, we passed through a street festival and found lunch nearby. Later, we took a bus to the Rozelle suburb to visit Belle Fleur Fine Chocolates, which somebody recommended to me twenty years ago.
